The MarketPlace – Folkestone Harbour Arm
The Harbour Arm Marketplace is the retail space next to The Goods Yard in Folkestone. From March to October the area is bustling with 35 huts open, home to independent makers, creatives and producers. Then from November to December, the Festive Marketplace returns.
Nestled cosily in between The Goods Yard and Harbourside, there’s the opportunity to shop for unique gifts and sample delicious food. You’ll be able to enjoy fantastic food with indoor seating. There will be the regular food favourites and new traders popping up for everyone to try.
Opening times
The opening times for the Marketplace are:
March to October – weekends and bank holidays.
November to December – weekends and late night shopping events to be announced.

There are regular traders who’ve made their name at Folkestone Harbour markets such as Silver By The Sea 22 and Dirk Seyfried Photography. You will find locally made gifts from very reasonable prices. There are wonderful bakers tempting you with cookies and cakes, and treats for the dog too at Dog Deli.
Discover pottery from My Pottery Shed and the unique lamps made by Twisted Treasures. There are antiques to discover at The South East Emporium. Produced In Kent have a variety of traders sharing the hut over the summer months with wonderful local food and craft products on sale. Gaia Studio, having had two successful years at the Marketplace have grown into their own permanent setting on Platform 4 of the Harbour Arm. Take a stroll from the Marketplace to discover their workshop space, coffee bar and refill station.
