folkestone restaurant week – 9th to 13th November 2026

Folkestone Restaurant Week will be running from 9th to 13th November 2026.  It’s an initiative that was started by a small group of restaurants who have worked hard to get many on board.  Now, 31 restaurants in Folkestone will be offering a two course meal for £20.26, per person, across the week in November.  Book in with the restaurant directly to secure your meal.

The beginning of November is usually quiet for the hospitality industry, and this idea came about from other towns who have run a similar offering in the past.  If people can be encouraged to discover a new restaurant, offering a great deal, then it’s all about discovering a new favourite place to eat.

tontine street

Burrito Buoy and Pomus on Tontine Street, alongside The Old Buoy are ready with their two course meal deals.  To take up their offers, customers need to book directly with the restaurant of choice.  All participating restaurants will be displaying the Folkestone Restaurant Week poster, and be advertising on their socials. Ryan Jacovides, manager of Pomus, has been involved in Margate Restaurant Week in the past and has some experience of what to expect.  “When we’ve done this in Margate, people relish the opportunity to try new places, so to see so many restaurants in Folkestone taking part is good for our hospitality industry at such a quiet time, as well as for the customer too. Can’t wait to see lots of new faces & regulars!”

The Mariner, Rocksalt and Harbour Inn are on board and can’t wait to be part of the party.

Helen Nimmons, Marketing Manager of The Rocksalt Group, said: “It’s been fantastic to see so many restaurants across Folkestone getting behind Restaurant Week. Seeing businesses across the town come together, support one another and collectively celebrate Folkestone’s brilliant food scene is something really special, especially at this time of year when the shoulder season can often be quieter before the busy festive season starts.”

“At the heart of hospitality is creating great experiences – giving people a reason to go out, enjoy a fantastic meal and make memories. Folkestone Restaurant Week takes that one step further by creating a town-wide experience that we hope will get people exploring, trying somewhere new and talking about our restaurants long after the week is over.  So far the feedback we’ve received has been very positive and diners are delighted to be getting a great meal at exceptional value at just £20.26 for two courses.”

“I personally can’t wait to get out and enjoy it myself. There are several restaurants taking part that I’ve never visited before, so I’ll definitely be making the most of the week and booking a few tables of my own!”

Brewing Brothers, Gaia + Grind, Hugo’s @ The Boardroom and Little Rock from the Harbour Arm are also participating.

Jodie, manager of Hugo’s @ The Boardroom is excited: “We’re looking forward to everyone having some winter-warming dishes at Hugo’s.  You can enjoy the fantastic views across the Harbour with equally delicious food.  Throw in a game of interactive darts if you fancy!  Book with us directly and we look forward to seeing you.”

Emily, and the girls at Brewing Brothers are also looking forward to Folkestone Restaurant Week. “At this time of year, it’s really quiet, and so this initiative is great to get people out and into our venue.  Plus, you get to taste the best pizza in Folkestone, so what are you waiting for?”

the old high street

Marleys at the bottom of The Old High Street have signed up, and so have El Cortador, if you’re in the mood for some tapas as your treat.  Moving up into Rendezvous Street you could enjoy pizza at Lubens, something Sicilian at Let’s Amore, a cheeky stop at Roni & Rita’s before finishing off the week at The Pullman.

The Leas

If you fancy dining atop the cliff then there’s plenty of choice in our restaurants along The Leas.  Skuba Bar and Bistro are in, as is Marco Pierre White at voco and The Cliffe has fantastic views while you dine.  Bay Tree Bar and Grill and Keppels at The Grand are signed up and will have you covered for small dishes as well as exciting drinks too.

in town

Annapurna in Cheriton Place is open for some very tasty curry.  The Bouverie Tap and The Radnor Arms are also involved in the West End of Folkestone.

Cheriton and The Golden Valley

If you are looking for brunch, then try the Green Papaya Kitchen in Cheriton, as it’s not all about dinner. The Gurkha Palace is part of the team, and if you’ve never eaten here before, now you have no excuse.

sandgate

This is when the Folkestone net is cast wide to include our wonderful restaurants in Sandgate.  The Famous Ship Inn, Nepali Kitchen, Mimosa and John Dory are all on the list. There are eight days of feasting, and if you plan it right, you could have brunch, lunch and dinner out every day to complete the set.
